WATCH

THE BLUE ANGEL

Prim professor Immanuel Rath (Emil Jannings) finds some of his students ogling racy photos of cabaret performer Lola Lola (Marlene Dietrich) and visits a local club, The Blue Angel, in an attempt to catch them there. Seeing Lola perform, the teacher is filled with lust, eventually resigning his position at the school to marry the young woman. However, his marriage to a coquette -- whose job is to entice men -- proves to be more difficult than Rath imagined.

Starring: Emil Jannings, Marlene Dietrich

WATCH

FESTIVAL EXPRESS

This compilation of footage from the Grateful Dead's Canadian train tour depicts the height of the band's music and fame for five days in 1970, along with that of performances from Janis Joplin, Buddy Guy, The Band and The Flying Burrito Brothers. However, there's also a dark side shown alongside the seminal concerts, as when the train stops, the musicians are often confronted with worried promoters, inquisitive reporters and protesting students who can't afford ticket prices.

Directed by: Bob Smeaton

WATCH

THE OWL AND THE PUSSYCAT

Trying to keep her head above water, New Yorker Doris (Barbra Streisand) accepts money for sexual favors from men who occasionally visit her apartment, a practice that bugs her neighbor, Felix (George Segal), an unsuccessful writer. Felix gets her booted, but when she complains to him, he lets her bunk at his place. Reserved Felix and outlandish Doris have little in common, but as they're forced to spend more time together, their proximity leads to an increasing mutual fondness.

Director: Herbert Ross
Starring: Barbara Streisand, George Segal

DAYS OF HEAVEN

A screen poem about life in America at the turn of the century. A story of love and murder told through the voice of a child and expressive images of nature in 1916. A steelworker flees Chicago after a fight with his boss; he takes his little sister and girlfriend with him
