READY TO WORK IN CLASS?  GREAT!

SUBMISSION DEADLINE:  Submit your Performer Request Form by or before FRIDAY at 5pm EST.

FIRST TIME SIGNING UP TO WORK IN CLASS?

Email Workshop@TomTodoroff.com to say I'M READY TO WORK and a member of the TT Team will give you a brief check in call before your very first time working in class. The purpose of this call is to make sure you're fully prepped on the Technique Tom uses when coaching you, so you can get the most benefit from your coaching session!

AS A REMINDER:

  • Please only submit this form once you've completed these BASIC PERFORMER REQUIREMENTS (click here).
  • If you have not already done so, please fill out this New Member Form (click here) before submitting your Performer Request.
  • The very first time you work in class, we recommend getting coached on a solo piece (so, a monologue or an audition). Thereafter, scene work is welcome!  If you need monologue ideas, please check out these lists of suggested monologues for male roles and for female roles.  You certainly don't have to choose from these lists, but they are a great starting point.
  • Before signing up to work in class the very first time only, we recommend letting us know the monologue you've chosen!  You can do this by emailing workshop@tomtodoroff.com and attach the piece you have in mind. We'll reply and say 'yes, great idea!' or, if it's not a great fit, we'll let you know why.  Thanks!

WORKING IN CLASS:

Tom will work with as many performers during the class as time allows.  If time does not allow you to work in any given class, you'll work in the very next class.  We go in no particular order, so please be prepared to work anytime after 11:30 am EST (when Tom begins coaching).

Also, once you're called upon and you've worked with Tom in class, your name is removed from the Performer list.  You will need to submit a new Performer request form each time you're ready to get up and work in class again.

Please note:  a 'work read' is for when you would like feedback as to which MONOLOGUE is best for you.  This is why you want to sign up with 2-3 monologue options to choose from.  Plan on holding your script (you're not off-book) but still rehearse the pieces, make choices and be familiar enough with the text that you don't need to actually read every line - you still want to get your face out of the page and into the camera lens!

By submitting this Performer Request form:

  • I'm confirming that I have completed all of the basic performer requirements!
  • If I have a scene partner, I understand my partner needs to submit this form too
  • If asked, I am ready to say the technique by number, by name, in order and out of order!  This means I've fully integrated all elements of the technique, so I'm ready to work!
  • I understand that I may not perform in the very next workshop, however, if I'm called on I will be ready to go with the piece included in this Performer Request.
  • If I am not called on in the very next workshop, I will remain on the list of Performers who may be called upon for the following Workshop (no need to re-submit this form).
  • I understand that if I want to work on a different piece, I will need to submit a new Performer Request form with the details for that piece.
