Alexander Tech I and II

Margi Sharp Douglas is an MFA graduate of Columbia University’s Acting program, a Master Pilates instructor, and an ATI certified Alexander teacher through Chloe Wing. She is a founding member and Producing Director for Magis Theatre Company, where she continues to teach movement to professional actors and company members, and perform in company productions. She teaches Alexander at the MFA program for actors at Columbia University, as well as the Tom Todoroff Conservatory in Manhattan, and has presented her Alexander and Pilates work at NYSTEA and the Voice Foundation. She teaches private and group classes at the Pilates Garage in Brooklyn. Acting credits include Orlando Shakespeare, Opera House Arts, La Mama, Abingdon Theatre and the New Ohio Theatre. Recent stage credits include Calderone’s Two Dreams at La Mama and The Millay Sisters, an original two-hander cabaret/theater production at the Gowanus Loft in Brooklyn.
